The town of "March"
in Cambridgeshire derives its name from the fact it was originally an island surrounded
by marshes, ironic there are a few more of those now too!
David Lloyd George was the instigator of the then Prince of Wales being invested
at Carnarvon Castle in July 1911 - this also resulted in the Daffodil being
adopted at the national symbol of Wales, so when we see them all popping up this
month we can say "Bore da" or Hello" if you prefer.
