the over indulgence of Easter and for a few of us some lovely sunshine I can’t believe
it’s May Day; traditionally the day we celebrated the coming of Summer (fingers
crossed), maypole dancing, making merry and the crowning of the May Queen. However,
for well over 120 years it's more synonymous with Labour Day, which for us workers
means another Bank Holiday this weekend, as well as another one at the end of the
month too! I suspect there will be quite a few of us out there with the BBQ and
a brolly both days!
