Access News    December 2016

Throughout November we attended a number of different exhibitions in both automotive and manufacturing sectors. First up was Forum Events - Fleet Services Management Summit, this took place at Whittlebury Hall Hotel in Northampton where we got to meet with fleet managers and discuss their key management requirements.


In the same week we attended Automotive Management Live, where we jointly exhibited with with dealer management system supplier, Gemini Systems, who we offer fully integrated solution with, read more on this here


We also attended The Manufacturing Management Show at the Ricoh Arena on the 23rd and 24th, meeting professionals from across the industry to discuss the role key and asset management can play in their organisation.

On the 16th of December we are taking part in the Christmas jumper day to raise money and awareness for Save the Children, a brilliant charity which helps children all around the world with the money it raises.

UK's leading first aid charity saves time using Keytracker system

When St John Ambulance in the West Midlands, identified a risk with the management of ambulance fleet keys, they contacted Keytracker for a solution.

Challenges:


With 22 vehicles on site that help the team provide care in the region, the fleet is vital to the charities daily operation.

Using unsecured key hooks to manage the keys to this fleet left the team at risk of theft, unauthorised drivers accessing vehicles and unreliable availability to first aid vehicles.

Solution:


Keytracker worked alongside the St John Ambulance team to understand their requirements and challenges, a solution was identified in the form of our Mechanical Key Management System.

This system allows each team member to be issued with an individual identification peg that provides access to the keys, the rest of the team can then at a glance identify who has the key to which vehicle.

The system cuts time wasted looking for keys and allows for keys to be secured when they are not required, allowing the St John Ambulance team to get on with the excellent work they do without the interruption of lost or misplaced keys.
